Lost your ID? / ID verloren?

In case you have lost your ID, you can do the following:
- Make a list of all of your characters you know of (the chances to find all increase with each one)
- For each lost ID make a new one and create a dummy character which name you will give to me. I then will delete the dummy character(s) and move the found character(s) to the new ID(s). You can specifiy which characters should be in which new ID

Depending on my workload it can take a while until I respond.

It should be understood that you only send such information to me via PM.

Falls du deine ID verloren hast, mache folgendes:
- Erstelle eine Liste mit all deinen Charakteren (die Wahrscheinlichkeit alle zu finden steigt mit jedem auf der Liste)
- Erstelle für jede verlorene ID eine neue und mach darin einen temporärer Charakter dessen Namen du mir gibst. Ich werde dann diese(n) temporären Charakter(e) löschen und die gefunden Charakter(e) in die neue ID(s) kopieren. Du kannst angeben, welche Charaktere in welche neue ID sollen.

Je nachdem wie viel ich gerade tun habe, kann es eine Weile dauern, bis ich antworte.

Es sollte selbstverständlich sein, dass du solche Informationen mir nur per PN zukommen lässt.

hi i need some help please. i have just bought a new HDD,and installed new universe,this has created a new account (silly me didn't change when i had the chance ) i have my old account number,and want to know how to change to the old account. many thanks

Hi mate.
If you have your old number, when you first try to go online it will show you a number and ask if it is correct. Delete the new number and type in the old one you have kept. Watch out because "D" and "0" (that is Zero, there are no O's) look very similar. click enter and if you got it right your old account will be there and you can access your chars.
If you have already "accepted" the new ID, your best option is to Uninstall NU, uninstall Freelancer, do Start - Search - Freelancer and delete anything found. Restart pc, reinstall Freelancer, reinstall NU then follow above instructions.

yes mate i was too late. but what i did was in the NU folder where i created the mod i delted the FLid file and copied and pasted the one from the microsoft games one and was able to change id when i got to it.

I lost the nickname in the game Freelancer: New Universe after reinstalled Windows! The nickname was "Universe". Prompt as it it is possible to return!
