Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT

Hi all,
I have the 9500 GT graphics card and would like to know what would be the best set up for it to run Freelancer.
I have tried overriding programme defaults at both Balanced and Quality settings, both of which cause the game to run slow in combat situations.
At the moment I am using "3D programme settings" but I feel this does not get the best out of the game or the card.
I am not sure how to set up the Advanced 3D image settings.
Any advice would be welcome.

Try disabling bloom in the mod options.
